The Androscoggin Yacht Club is proud to continue offering our members Sailing Lessons for 2010 at only $30 per session, and now you can pre-pay online via PayPal through our VirtueMart online store.

There are two sessions:

July 5 - July 16 (cut-off date is June 25)

July 26 - August 6 (cut-off date is July 16)

Pre-payment still requires submission of our sign-up/permission form, available as PDF for printing, or you can just pay in person when submitting the form before the deadline. If you prepaid, be sure to bring your emailed receipt when submitting the form.

This year the Androscoggin Yacht Club welcomes Daniel Fayan as sailing instructor.

"Sailing has been my foremost joy since my father first gave me my first spin on the helm of his Friendship Sloop on Maine's Sheepscot Bay at the age of six.  I have been richly fortunate to be under the wonderful sailing instructional tutelage of the late Norma Smith of the Southport (Maine) Yacht Club.  My sailing instruction experience includes several years at the Southport Yacht Club, two summer seasons at Camp Androscoggin (where I fell in love with sailing on Lake Androscoggin) and nine years as head sailing instructor at the Harvard University Yacht Club in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  I am eagerly looking forward to imparting the skills and joy of sailing at the Androscoggin Yacht Club this season.  Hope to see you soon."
